Is marriage a dying institution

Why don't people stay together anymore? Its to easy to split
   Plus 50yrs anniversary plates just don't mean a thing anymoreWe are living in an "all about me","instant gratification","excuse making" society compared with past times.Have you ever listened to the reasons people give for getting married?I have heard other women say,"He can be a real jerk and he has cheated on me,but he makes good money",I have heard,"If something doesn't work out,we will just get a divorce".I don't think people take marriage seriously anymore.And what happened to the roles that men and women have in marriages?Now they are all askew ! I think that there is something to be said about traditional roles in marriage-there was a better balance and better support system within the household.
AND now we have shrinks giving everyone labels of dysfunctional "syndromes"and honestly,people use EVERYTHING as an excuse.You see many people blaming their parents or their self esteem or their inability to pay attention and using those things as a crutch instead of going forward and becoming proactive enough to fix small problems in relationships or their everyday life for that matter.30 years ago you didn't see a man shirking his responsibilities as a father because HIS father was an alcoholic.30 years ago you didn't see a woman sitting on her butt and eating little debbies all day while watching jersey shore,ignoring her husband and children and blaming it on the fact that they have attention deficit disorder.plus as human we learn buy sight and word so we got a group of kids who's not give a rats ass about anyone or anything people the word about to get real weird real fast I'm talking about some real twisted stuck these kids are going to pick up on and learn in do and create,there's no looking back now buy a ticket and hang on because it's going to be one hairy ride....TS
